David is the head of Gross Mendelsohn’s tax department. He specializes in providing tax services to privately-held businesses and their owners. In addition to being a CPA, David is a Certified Valuation Analyst, often working with clients who are buying or selling a business or developing a succession plan.
For David, one of the best parts of being a CPA is when he gets to work alongside a client who is struggling with a decision. Recognizing that his clients are very bright people who usually make good decisions, he knows they sometimes just need the support of an outside advisor to give them the confidence they need to move forward.
David Leipnik, CPA, CVA
David is a partner in Gross Mendelsohn’s tax department. He provides accounting and tax services to a variety of clients, including nonprofit organizations, construction and real estate companies, professional firms and distributors. David provides business valuation services for closely-held businesses, providing valuation services in regards to gifts, estate planning and mergers.
When it comes to helping his clients, David is never shy when taking on new challenges and enjoys taking an active role in his clients’ businesses and tax planning.
Scott Handwerger, CPA
Scott, a partner in Gross Mendelsohn’s tax department, offers a broad range of tax, estate planning and accounting services to clients. He uses his decades of experience to help clients save money and increase cash flow. Scott works with many different kinds of clients, including high net worth families, construction contractors, manufacturers, distributors and service businesses.
For Scott, giving business advice is only one facet of his client relationships. He enjoys learning what he has in common with his client and feels fortunate to call many clients friends.
