SUMMARY
Human Resources Managers are often called upon to engage employees in the most sensitive, uncomfortable conversations.  These can include issues that range from inappropriate attire, personal hygiene, suspected theft to gossiping.  How do we have successful verbal interventions and positive confrontational techniques when engaging in difficult conversations?  Participants will learn some breakthrough techniques for handling difficult conversations at work that they and their managers can use to protect themselves and their organization and get the very best from their employees. This presentation will include role plays and case scenarios to help gain immediately applicable tips and tools that will improve the effectiveness of the Human Resources professional on the job.  The scenarios will challenge participants to think on their feet, exercise judgment and render a decision toward successful resolution.

Guests may attend one HVBF Roundtable before joining the HVBF.
