Christopher J. Lyon is a Partner in Simms Showers LLP's Hunt Valley office. In his practice, he counsels businesses and professionals in the areas of employment law and intellectual property law. In addition to advising clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws, he is a trial attorney. He has successfully litigated lawsuits involving, among others, claims brought under Title VII (federal anti-discrimination law), the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and Maryland's Wage and Hour Law. Mr. Lyon is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and he received his law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Care School of Law.
