Executive Director Women's Law Center of Maryland, Inc.

This session will highlight the changes in the law, provide insights and strategies to help you address issues in your workplace. We will have an interactive discussion among peers. Please attend and bring a guest to add more voices to this very important discussion.

Michelle Daugherty Siri, Esq. is the Executive Director of the Women’s Law Center of Maryland (“WLC”), a statewide nonprofit dedicated to ensuring the safety, economic security, and autonomy of women across Maryland.  

Michelle is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Circuit Court for the Fourth Circuit.   After practicing in the private sector and the public sector for numerous years, she transitioned out of the daily practice of law, and into her current position at the WLC in January 2015.  He current position allows her the unique opportunity to blend her passion to achieve systemic change on behalf of women with her connections and experience within the legal community.
 
Ms. Siri spends much of her free time supporting the community through a variety of local organizations.  She was awarded The Daily Record’s 2016 Leadership in Law - Generation JD award, was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by the Daily Record in 2015, among other numerous awards and recognitions.
