SUMMARY
Have you ever promoted the super-worker to super-visor and lost a great employee in the process? Have you ever hired the wrong person and have to fire them? Filling a position with the wrong employee can be very costly in both time and money. Knowing how to match the right person with the right role is the key to improving productivity, profitability and creating a winning work environment. Learn how to get "behind" the interview and go deeper to really understand a candidate's drives and motivations. Understand the truth about resumes, interviews and references - what to trust/or not. This roundtable will help you improve your probability of success in both hiring and retaining employees.

As “pre-work” for this presentation, you will be invited to take the Predictive Index (PI) Survey. The PI survey  is a behavioral
assessment that measures the motivating needs and workplace behaviors of an individual. David Lunken will email each of you individually with a link to the survey, it takes 5-10 minutes tops.  The link will come from a separate email address –accesspi@piwebservices.com.  Please take a moment to complete the survey at least 3 days prior to the meeting so David has time to process the results.

At the conclusion of this roundtable, participants will be able to:

- Describe the practical applications of assessments
- Define key criteria for evaluating assessment tools
- Describe the value of job-person match
- Communicate how drives and motivations are the key to employee productivity
- Explain how objective data can help in making decisions

Guests may attend one HVBF Roundtable before joining the HVBF.
