Join the Professional Women's Business Group for our inaugural mentoring event. There will be a panel of mentors and mentees discussing:

  • The value and power of being a mentor-- paying it forward
  • How to be empowered by a mentor --your responsibility & expectations
  • How to find and ask someone to be your mentor/mentee-- the match up

Jenny Trostel
Senior Director of Development, National Kidney Foundation of Maryland

In 2013, Jenny began her “second act” in the nonprofit world after many years in the automotive business as the President and Owner of Hunt Valley Saab.  Jenny’s passion for mentoring began when she became a member Executive Alliance (formerly Network 2000) and joined the Effective Impact Mentor Program Committee. Jenny is actively involved in the community and is a member of Women United with the United Way of Central Maryland, is on the board of Planned Parenthood of Maryland.

Karen M. Singer
First Vice Chair and Fund Development Chair, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland

Karen M. Singer is the former Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Corporate Office Properties Trust (NYSE: OFC), a Maryland real estate investment trust.   Karen is an active mentor at Executive Alliance (formerly Network 2000). Karen currently serves in positions at Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and the Jewish Volunteer Connection. Karen also founded “Something Good”, a weekend hands-on volunteer initiative in which she organizes diverse activities serving basic needs (such as food stability, human services and enhancing the environment).  

 


Kiki N. Oosterwijk
Associate, SC&H Group, LLC

Kiki N. Oosterwijk is an Associate in the certified public accounting firm of SC&H Group, LLC. Her practice areas include business valuation and merger and acquisition advisory services. She mentors high school students through Junior Achievement. Kiki is also a member of the Towson University Young Alumni Advisory Council.

Talley Kovacs
Associate Attorney, Pessin Katz Law, P.A.

Talley graduated from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland in 2001. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and contemporaneously earned an MBA from the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore. She was paired with Karen Singer in the Executive Alliance Mentoring program.
