Mike Gimbel Associates 

Mike Gimbel has been in the field of substance abuse education and treatment for over 35 years.  Mike was the Baltimore County Government Drug Czar for 25 years and is currently the President of Mike Gimbel Associates, a nationally recognized substance abuse consulting company.

Mike speaks to schools, colleges, businesses, faith organizations, parent groups and youth groups across the nation. Mike has hosted a syndicated public affairs television show called “Straight Talk” for 30 years.  The show airs each weekend in the Baltimore area as well as other cities. Mike is an avid runner and has completed 8 Boston Marathons. Mike lives in Timonium, Maryland

THREE KEY POINTS OF TALK: 

1. We will discuss how to develop and or adjust your companies drug policy given the recent increase in prescription pain medications and medical marijuana.

2.  How to identify employees who may be using illegal drugs and or abusing legal drugs ( and alcohol) and how to provide assistance to employees and their families.

3.  We will show many items that employees use to hide drugs at the workplace and some of the current drugs of abuse.
